These small flower pots were hand thrown on my potter’s wheel from fine, white stoneware clay. This beautiful planter was carefully crafted and made with love by me. I don’t use any slip-cast moulds (moulds produce exactly the same shape) to make these planters, so they’re made in small batches. Each ceramic planter will have its own characteristics from the handmade process. **These are limited edition, only six were made!**
The words, “a flower doesn’t compete with the flower next to it…-it just blooms-” has been individually hand stamped into the clay (no pre-made stamps), hand painted in black underglaze, cleaned then fired (bisque – first firing). The outside has been left raw (unglazed) and the inside of the planter has been glazed in a clear, glossy glaze which is lead free. These ceramic planters have been fired to stoneware temperatures, therefore they are very durable. *There is no drain hole in this pot.
Dimensions: Due to the nature of these ceramic planters being completely made by hand, no two will be exactly the same.
Approximate dimensions are: 9.5-10.5cm in diameter from the rim x 7.5-8cm in height.
